Founded in 2016 by a passionate veterinary student, Half a Vet began with a simple yet powerful vision: to provide top-notch petsitting services in Gainesville, FL, while offering flexible work opportunities for veterinary students. Our founder recognized the unique needs of pet owners in the area and wanted to create a solution that would not only meet those needs but also allow her and her fellow vet students to utilize their skills and gain valuable experience.
